Eurocopter As550C3 Fennec

The Eurocopter AS550 Fennec (now Airbus Helicopters H125M) is a lightweight, multipurpose military helicopter, introduced in 1990, receiving its name after the Fennec fox. When Aérospatiale identified the need of a civil-oriented aircraft in the 1970s, they started developing an economic and affordable rotorcraft, while also making it cost-effective in production and maintenance. This initial aircraft was designated the name AS350 Écureuil, which then became populr in the military and civil aviation sector. Following the Vienna Treaty, the military variant of the AS350 was agreed to be marketed as the AS550 Fennec. Available with different configurations to facilitate for a variety of roles, the armed versions of the AS550 could be fitted with coaxial weapons, rockets, torpedoes and other munitions.
