The Short 360 is a commuter aircraft which seats up to 39 passengers in high density configuration and was introduced into service in 1982. It is a larger derivative of the Short 330 and has a swept tail unit mounted on a revised rear fuselage. The 360 also has fuselage “plug” which gave sufficient additional length for two more seat rows, which helped to smooth out the aerodynamic profile and drag.
