This safety feature, known as Electronic Stability and Protection (ESP), ensures a safe and stable flight condition in case of pilot disorientation or incapacitation.

Equipped with ADS-B, the M500 offers enhanced situational awareness, although it does not feature FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control). With fuel tanks capable of carrying 170 US gallons (644 litres) and a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42A engine burning 37 US gallons per hour (140 litres per hour), the M500 delivers efficient operations without compromising on performance.

Weighing in at a maximum ramp weight of 5,135 pounds (2,329 kilograms) and a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 5,092 pounds (2,310 kilograms), the M500 cruises comfortably at 260 knots (482 kilometres per hour) at an altitude of 30,000 feet (9,144 meters).
